Global tequila brand, Patrón, officially enters the prestige tequila market with the launch of its latest Patrón ‘El Alto’ tequila. It has been “handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave grown in the highest parts of Jalisco Mexico, yielding the sweetest agaves for an incredibly smooth taste.” The brand states.
Primarily crafted with Extra Añejo and blended with Añejo and Reposado tequilas, Master Distiller David Rodriguez said, “Patrón El Alto stays true to Patrón Tequila’s traditional roots in distilling while innovating in a way that achieves the best blended, aged tequila profile possible,” Besides, the brand has been working over four years and more than 300 tastings to create the very best expression of Patrón’s heritage.
The tequila is exquisite, naturally smooth and sweet with subtle notes of vanilla, figs, honey, caramel, and dried fruit, taking the brand into the highest quality distiller drinks so far. The distiller brand has been carefully selecting the best ingredients for this new tequila, and the sweet-dried fruit notes are a result of having been aged in 11 types of barrels (oak body and French oak heads). Devoted to 100% naturally perfect ingredients and masterfully combined using the traditional Tahona production process, the brand expressed that “Patrón El Alto is masterfully aged, resulting in an innovative and impressively rare tequila.”
