Maserati Debuts The New MC20 Notte With David Beckham

Designed by the former GT1 world champion Andrea Bertolini, Maserati’s flagship car embodies a more aggressive and racing-oriented aesthetic than ever before.

Maserati has recently launched the MC20 Notte, a limited-edition supercar that embodies the spirit of racing and sophistication. This exclusive release pays homage to Maserati’s illustrious racing history and features a design inspired by the enigmatic allure of the night sky.

The MC20 signalled the triumphant comeback of the Trident to its supercar origins, seamlessly blending athleticism with opulence. The Notte Edition takes the MC20 further in embracing its racing essence. Limited to a mere 50 units globally, this exclusive release draws inspiration from the enigmatic and potent allure of darkness, metamorphosing the MC20 into a thunderous entity crafted to captivate and enhance the already exceptional performance of the V6 Nettuno engine.

The MC20 Notte Edition, created in collaboration with Andrea Bertolini, a GT1 world champion, boasts a stunning matte black finish called ‘nero essenza’. This transformative shade combined with matte white gold details, creates a captivating contrast reminiscent of moonlit nights.

The car’s exterior design elements, such as the iconic Trident logo, side logos, and the Maserati script, highlight the brand’s motorsport heritage. Additionally, the 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels with matte white gold accents and black brake callipers enhance the presence of the MC20 on the road.

Inside the car, the driver-centric cabin is adorned with a combination of black and grey Alcantara, featuring yellow stitching that adds a vibrant touch to the sports seats. The sport steering wheel, with carbon fibre inserts and the renowned Trident emblem on the headrests, emphasizes the MC20’s racing DNA.

Each car is marked with a unique metal plate indicating its identity as ‘UNA DI 50’, one of the fifty limited edition units. To showcase the MC20 Notte’s capabilities, a film featuring David Beckham and Andrea Bertolini has been created to highlight the car’s transformation into a nocturnal beast. Maserati aims to provide its exclusive clientele with an immersive on-track driving experience, allowing them to truly connect with the essence of the Trident under the cover of darkness.

Maserati design head Klaus Busse described the MC20 Notte as a custom-built rolling sculpture that combines performance, elegance, and a touch of mystery. The limited-edition model caters to supercar collectors and track enthusiasts.

Maserati has not announced the MC20 Notte’s price, but it’s certainly going to exceed the US$217,000 (RM1mil) asking price for the regular MC20.
