David Beckham, the former footballer, has collaborated with Italian brand Maserati to design a pair of sports cars that draw inspiration from classic cars and tailoring. These exclusive cars are part of Maserati’s Fuoriserie Essentials collection described as “a refined collection of cars curated by select tastemakers and friends of the trident.”. The two cars will be available for purchase by customers who are looking for unique and personalized vehicles. This collaboration between Beckham and Maserati is a testament to their shared passion for craftsmanship, design, and performance.

“Not one but two Essentials, signed by @davidbeckham. A built-to-order, ultra-luxury version of the Quattroporte was presented in Modena on the 60th Anniversary of the Trident – it was the 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale. Produced in only 51 units, David was inspired by this Maserati that represented pinnacle luxury and exclusivity in one. A striking green “Verde Royale” shade intrigues the eye, while warm brown leather seats invite drivers inside. The Maserati Fuoriserie David Beckham Essentials collection embodies David’s signature sartorial vision and sporting elegance.” – From Maserati.

It comes as no surprise to those familiar with Maserati that David Beckham is the first to launch a collection under the Fuoriserie program. As a brand ambassador for Maserati, the suave soccer icon has already created a bespoke Maserati MC20 supercar in black and pink, the colors of his Inter Miami soccer team, generating excitement for the program.

Beckham’s first ever Fuoriserie Essentials collection draws inspiration from his own sartorial style, as well as classic Maserati rides from two distinct eras. The collection includes two schemes, with the first inspired by a 1967 Maserati Ghibli coupe.

This scheme features a “Night Interaction” blue exterior and tan leather interior. The second scheme is inspired by the ultra-limited 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, of which only 51 were produced. This scheme features a dark green “Verde Royale” exterior and warm brown leather upholstery. Beckham’s attention to detail and appreciation for classic Maserati designs are evident in these two stunning schemes.

Beckham’s personal sense of style inspired the first ever Fuoriserie Essentials collection. In both designs, there is a distinctive branded plaque placed either on the central tunnel between the front seats or on the trim piece between the headrests. In a statement, Beckham expressed his enthusiasm for cars and described the incredible experience of being involved in designing and creating his very own Fuoriserie collection.

“I have always loved cars, so to be part of designing and creating my own Fuoriserie collection has been an amazing experience,” Beckham said in a statement.

“It has been incredible to collaborate with the skilled Maserati team once again to create these designs, inspired by my passion for classic cars and my appreciation for personal detail.”

The MC20 supercar and the Grecale luxury crossover SUV offer both Fuoriserie DB Essentials configurations. However, if neither of these options appeals to you, Maserati customers always have access to the broader Fuoriserie program.

“Just like David, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalization features from our Fuoriserie Corse collection, inspired by Maserati’s glorious racing heritage, and from our Fuoriserie Futura collection, dedicated to lovers of technology and new materials,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Design of Maserati.
