Riva Lauches Its Biggest Flybridge Yacht: The 130-Foot Bellissima

Riva’s largest luxury flybridge yacht hits the water.

Built by an American owner, the legendary Italian yachtmaker “Riva” announced its latest launch of the biggest and luxury flybridge yacht –  which hit the water for the first time at the shipyard’s facility in la Spezia, Italy – The 130-Foot Bellissima. The tri-deck yacht became the largest model in the flybridge range. The Riva 130’ Bellissima yacht with the first planning flybridge in the range remains under 300 GT.

The new 130’ Bellissima was penned by Mauro Micheli, co-founder of Officina Italiana Design. Mr Micheli and Officina Italiana Designs worked in close partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

Itis characterized by extensive glazed surfaces that allow natural light to bathe the elegant interiors – the main and upper decks. The interior features a 270-degree view saloon fitted with glass and polished rosewood, a master suite on the main deck, four cabins on the lower deck, and a large lobby with en suite bathrooms in between. Passengers will find accommodation in four cabins located on the lower deck. All of the rooms are separated by a large lobby, and the owner’s master suite is positioned on the main deck.

The exterior presents Riva’s new concept: open to the water, lower and split into a Beach Club and a cockpit. The upper deck features a dining area seating for 10, two closed private balconies and a top-mounted sundeck suited to socialize or tanning. There, up to ten people can have a fresco dining experience and meet people. They can also go to the sun deck to relax and enjoy some good cocktails.

Moreover, this yacht measures 40 meters (131 ft.) in length, and it has got a three-deck layout that offers great interior volumes. It has also got extensive surfaces built in carbon fiber, steel, and glass.

The spherical crystal windshield features Riva’s hallmark counter-curvature, while the hull window is highlighted by a black line that runs along the glistening boat side.

There are also supercar-inspired details such as carbon fiber and air intake grills detailing and a hard top. It’s 2,638-hp engines are really powerful. It gets its power from twin MTU engines that allow it to reach a maximum speed of 26 knots (30 mph/48 kph) and a cruising speed of 23 (26 mph/43 kph) – making this incredible and luxury yacht to become a masterpiece.
