In a year already full of unexpected fashion-meets-auto crossovers, Porsche Italia’s new collaboration with Ferragamo may just take the top spot for the most elegantly executed. To mark 40 years of delivering Porsches to Italy, the automaker has teamed up with the Florentine fashion house for two incredibly refined special editions of the 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the Taycan 4S—vehicles that don’t just move fast, but move with style.

This partnership might not seem like an obvious pairing at first glance—after all, Porsche is precision German engineering, while Ferragamo is rooted in Italian heritage and haute couture. But with over 8,200 Porsches delivered to Italian roads by the brand’s Italian branch since its founding, the collaboration begins to feel less like a surprise and more like a long-overdue celebration of shared ideals: design excellence, timeless style, and attention to detail.
And that’s where Blusogno comes in.
A Color Born from Craftsmanship

Both vehicles wear a distinctive blue-purple hue dubbed Blusogno—a color born not from a paint swatch but from leather and fabric samples pulled directly from Ferragamo bags and garments. Developed through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus program, this unique shade dominates the cars’ exteriors with finesse, giving each one a velvet-like visual texture.
Even the racing-inspired pinstriping that trails across the body from hood to spoiler isn’t random—it follows wind tunnel airflow patterns, blending art with aerodynamics. It’s the kind of obsessive design touch that makes Porsche fanatics drool and fashion connoisseurs nod in approval.
Blusogno Inside and Out

The white pinstriped wheels, wheel hubs, and model lettering outlines echo the Blusogno theme, but the interior is where things really get luxurious. Inside both cars, almost every surface is draped in the signature shade—seats, steering wheel, center console—contrasted subtly with gray piping and a clean 12 o’clock marker on the GT sports wheel.
Each model comes with matching Blusogno leather accessories, including a document folder, key pouch, and indoor car cover embroidered with both the Porsche crest and Ferragamo branding in white.
In the 911, the gear lever is also wrapped in the same premium leather, while the electric Taycan, gearless by nature, gets its tech-driven minimalism dressed up with the same luxe materials.
Details That Tell a Story

Porsche resisted the urge to go over the top. Instead, the brands chose refinement over reinvention. From the tricolor Italian flag rings on the dashboard’s SportChrono clock to the blue-black duotone wood trim on the doors and illuminated Ferragamo logos on the door sills, every detail tells a story of precision and poetry.
“The main idea was to change as little as possible and focus on refined details—because Porsche is already perfect,” explains Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Salvatore Ferragamo. “We wanted to tell an emotive story rooted in the idea of dreaming. My father Salvatore was known as the shoemaker of dreams, while Porsche continues to be driven by dreams.”
Only in Italy… for Now

At the moment, the Ferragamo x Porsche 911 and Taycan are exclusive to the Italian market, making them a rare fusion of automotive and fashion culture available only to those lucky enough to live—or have connections—in Italy.
For the rest of us, this collaboration raises a tantalizing question: could this be the start of a new era of design-driven automotive editions? And if so, which American label would be the perfect match for a stateside release? Ralph Lauren? Tom Ford? Brunello Cucinelli meets GT3 RS?
We can dream.
