All-black styling meets boosted performance and premium features.
A sleek, electric ride fit for Bruce Wayne.

Porsche has taken its groundbreaking all-electric sports car and given it a shadowy, menacing twist with the reveal of the Taycan Black Edition. Cloaked in style and packing serious performance enhancements, this new variant of the Taycan lineup blends elegance with aggression in a way that feels tailor-made for a certain billionaire vigilante with a penchant for stealth—yes, we’re looking at you, Bruce Wayne.
While brands like Pininfarina may hold the official partnership with Warner Bros. to deliver Batman-branded hypercars like the 1,900-horsepower Battista, Porsche’s Taycan Black Edition enters the scene as a more practical, yet equally captivating, ride for anyone who prefers style that whispers rather than shouts.
At the core of this dark transformation is Porsche’s SportDesign package, enhancing the Taycan’s aerodynamics and aesthetics with redesigned front intakes, aggressive side skirts, and a bolder rear diffuser. The murdered-out look is finished with high-gloss black trim around the windows and rear badging. However, buyers can still opt for a variety of muted, sophisticated tones from Porsche’s “Contrasts and Shades” catalog, including Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic—at no additional cost.
Performance with a Punch

The Taycan Black Edition isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade—it comes armed with the Performance Battery Plus as standard. This larger battery pack offers a 105 kWh usable capacity, a solid step up from the 79 kWh base battery, and the power gains are impressive.
- Base Taycan Black Edition: 321 hp standard, up to 469 hp with Overboost Power and Launch Control
- Taycan 4 Black Edition: Jumps from 402 hp to 429 hp
- Taycan 4S Black Edition: Surges from 455 hp to a thrilling 565 hp
That power, paired with improved maximum range thanks to the larger battery, makes this edition a serious contender for long-range grand touring—especially for those who don’t want to stop often.
A Rolling Luxury Lounge

Inside the cabin, Porsche hasn’t held back. The Taycan Black Edition arrives fully loaded with premium tech and comfort features that are usually add-ons:
- Lane Change Assist and Surround View with Active Parking Assist
- 21-inch wheels with full-color Porsche crest center caps
- HD-Matrix Design LED headlights and Porsche logo puddle light projectors
- 14-way comfort seats with memory, headrests embossed with the Porsche crest
- Bose Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos and Porsche Electric Sport Sound
- Storage package and black embossed leather trim

This suite of features brings both driving assistance and interior luxury to the forefront, making the Taycan Black Edition as refined inside as it is fearsome on the outside.
Porsche has yet to announce pricing details for the Taycan Black Edition lineup, which includes the base model, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S versions. But we do know that deliveries will begin at U.S. Porsche Centers in fall 2025.

For those who want electric performance, luxury comfort, and serious stealth appeal, the 2026 Taycan Black Edition might just be the dark horse of the EV world. Whether you’re cruising city streets or plotting your next nocturnal escapade, this is one Porsche that doesn’t just go fast—it goes incognito.
