Centuries later, craftsmen started creating watches with complicated machinery, but soon they miniaturized them into household clocks. Wristwatches were the last step.
What about sounds on watches? It has always been a crucial aspect of their craftsmanship. It has also defined the identity of the Ulysse Nardin brand since its beginning in the market. In 2019, the CEO’s firm, Patrick Pruniaux, decided to include sound again as the central element of his creations.
The Blast Hourstriker watch is the greatest innovation ever made in 2021. Designed by Ulysse Nardin, it is a clear example of history and sonority included in it. With a futuristic approach and reinterpretation of traditional craftsmanship, Blast Hourstriker differentiate itself from the rest. Not only does it show the time, but it also shows it, providing a smooth, automatic acoustic wave to detect the time, thanks to a tiny hammer of wire wound around the movement.
The model also has a striking mechanism, which is visible on the side of the dial, so you do not miss a single detail. In addition to this, the watch offers a black DLC titanium case with a layer of 18-carat 5N rose gold.
