The result is the Seiko x Rowing Blazers x Wind Vintage Rally Diver, a fresh interpretation of the popular Seiko 5 Sports platform that blends nostalgic racing influences with the playful personality that has made Rowing Blazers a cult favorite among fashion enthusiasts and collectors.
Available from July 9, the collaboration introduces two new models — the SRPM21 and SRPM19 — each offering a unique take on Seiko’s iconic dive watch aesthetic. The release follows previous successful collaborations between Seiko and Rowing Blazers, including the much-discussed Seiko 5 Sports “Pepsi” edition from last summer.
Founded in 2017 by former U.S. national rowing team member Jack Carlson, Rowing Blazers has built its reputation by reimagining traditional preppy style through a contemporary lens. The brand’s approach combines classic influences — from Ivy League fashion to British sporting culture — with unexpected collaborations and a more inclusive attitude toward heritage style.
Over the years, Rowing Blazers has partnered with brands including Barbour, J.Crew and Sperry, while developing a loyal following among fashion insiders, athletes and celebrities. Inside, each watch is powered by Seiko’s reliable 4R36 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels and offering both automatic winding and manual winding capabilities. Priced at $495 each, the watches continue Seiko’s tradition of delivering accessible mechanical timepieces while adding the collectible appeal of a limited collaboration. The design also pays tribute to previous Rowing Blazers releases, particularly the 2021 Seiko x Rowing Blazers Rally Diver, which itself referenced a vintage Seiko Rally Diver from the late 1960s.
For Eric Wind, that historical connection carries special significance. The original vintage Rally Diver was reportedly the first vintage watch he ever purchased, making the new collaboration not only a design exercise but also a personal tribute to the world of vintage watch collecting.
The latest release also includes subtle Rowing Blazers details, including the brand’s Bath Club motif engraved on the caseback. These small touches reflect the label’s philosophy of celebrating history and craftsmanship while giving classic objects a new cultural context.
