Ray-Ban debuts F1-ready Ferrari wayfarers for 75th annual Italian GP. Here’s all what you need to know about the stunning new sunglasses.

The 2022 Italian Grand Prix at Monza happened just some days ago (Sunday, Sept. 11th), and Ray-Ban teamed with home-team Ferrari on a stylish eyewear design that will turn heads faster than F1 racers Charles LeClerc and Carlos Sainz. Eyewear brand Ferrari contributed to the Itlian GP’s 75th anniversary celebration with a limited edition Ray-Ban Wayfarer Carbon Fiber for Scuberia The eyewear design was made from ultra-light materials – designed to be as strong and sleek as the Formula 1 cars on track.
“Born to perform. The Ferrari 75th Anniversary Edition goes the distance. Crafted in dark carbon fiber with “yellow Modena” details, this timeless Wayfarer brings together F1 spirit and Ray-Ban style. With the Ferrari shield on the lens and temple plaque, this legendary look is clearly for the passionate. Each order comes with a special leather case, dedicated packaging and an exclusive certificate.” By Ray-Ban.

The front of shades is black. However, inside the design, there’s Ferrari’s “giallo Modena” yellow on the elliptical rivets, rubber-grip nose pads and temple tips. The shades, Ray-Ban notes, are “inspired by the fast-paced design and materials of the F1 circuit,”. Its job has been incredibly done by translating that inspiration down into a new essential for the racing fan’s everyday carry. Glasses come in a unique and amazing leather case finished with a carbon fiber texture and temples plaque of the lenses are graced by the Scuberia Ferrari Racing Shield logo.

Last week, Ray-Ban released the limited-edition collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari to celebrate Ferrari’s 75th anniversary race at its home track, Monza. The collection of carbon fiber Wayfarers was again dedicated to Formula 1 and you could recognize that by the red-hot details on the black metal frame. Besides, the collection was sold out immediately upon release and created a fenzy when team drivers Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles LeClerc made a surprise store appearance. The 250 pieces were sold out in no time.

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer Carbon Fiber for Scuberia Ferrari is for sale. You can get these sunglasses for a decent price of $490.
