Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, Hennessey, has unveiled its latest hypercar production: The Venom F5 “Revolution”. Considered one of the most powerful hypercar, this new track-focused version of the Hennessey Venom F5 has been re-design to continue its heritage of being worldwide known as the fastest, lighter and gripper hypercar – it is also the most powerful and visceral pure-combustion hypercar in the world.

Hennessey says that this new version of the Venom F5 “Revolution” aims to perform on both road and track. It has been designed with an adjustable full-width carbon fibre read wing that delivers more than 800 lbs (363 kg) of downforce at 249 mph (400 km/h). Hennessey reports that the wing delivers 800 pounds of downforce at 186 mph and 1,400 pounds at 249 mph.

The incredible hypercar also gets a larger front splitter, dives planes and an extended read diffuser, which according to Hennessey, helps create a low-pressure vortex beneath the floor. No changes have been added to the twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre “Fury” V8, making the same 1,817 hp (1,842 PS) it does in other F5 applications. The rear wheels drive through an automated single-clutch transmission. However, the new “Revolution” version features a cooled engine by air drawn in through a roof-mounted snorkel. It also features multi-piston callipers, ensuring fade-free stopping power on the road or circuit.

John Hennessey, Company Founder and CEO say, “The new Venom F5 Revolution Coupe combines our outstanding 1,817 bhp V8 ‘Fury’ combustion engine with our lightest and most capable chassis. The hypercar, which is astoundingly fast, is at home on a racing circuit where almost handling is paramount – it offers the nimbleness of a fighter jet, yet with a powerplant like a Saturn V rocket”.

The latest “Revolution” version was honed by a former GM engineer, John “Heinrocket” Heinricy. He has more than 240 professional races done, including 35 gruelling 24-hour races and multiple race/championship wins. He acclaimed cars like the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V. However, his intervention in the new F5 Revolution left him speechless as he said he never dealt with anything quite as rapid as the F5 Revolution.

“I led engineering on some of the most extreme cars to come out of GM, including the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V, but nothing compares to designing, developing, and refining a race car for the road like the Venom F5 Revolution. From the outset, we designed the Venom 5F hypercar to be ultra-light and monstrously powerful, with dynamic to match. So, taking these ingredients and adding track-focused aerodynamics, suspension, and gearing, enabled us to create a machine that is the ultima visceral and emotional driving experience.” Chief engineer John ‘Heinrocket’ Heinricy says.

Only 24 examples of the Venom F5 Revolution are intended to be built, basing its price of $2.7 million and putting it midway between the standard $2.1 million F5 Venom couple and the $3 million Roadster. If you are interested to purchase one hypercar, then you will apply to do so before the hypercar makes its debut at the MIAMI Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d’Elegance on January 15.
