Dua Lipa’s Custom Porsche GT3 RS Heads to Auction for a Good Cause

A Porsche with a pulse-pounding performance pedigree and a pop star connection is turning heads at RM Sotheby’s.

Unveiled in the glimmering backdrop of Monte Carlo ahead of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, this custom 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS—specially specced for a promotional appearance by global superstar Dua Lipa—is now up for auction. But this isn’t just another high-performance track car looking for a new garage. Every dollar raised from the sale will go to Lipa’s Sunny Hill Foundation, supporting transformative educational opportunities for young women in Kosovo.

Dua Lipa’s edition of Porsche’s track-ready flagship wears a show-stopping livery of turquoise, red, gold, and dark green, mirroring the sun-soaked tones of the Mediterranean coastline. But it’s not just a pretty face. This model is equipped with Porsche’s elite Weissach Package, a suite of lightweight upgrades named after the brand’s legendary test track. Magnesium wheels finished in Satin Pyro Red, plus carbon fiber-reinforced drivetrain parts, help shave almost 50 pounds off the standard GT3 RS—making this beast even leaner and meaner.

Braking comes courtesy of Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with vibrant yellow-painted calipers, while extras like a front-axle lift system and Guards Red accents on the tachometer and Chrono stopwatch round out the bespoke, track-inspired detailing.

Underneath the hood lies the GT3 RS’s beating heart: a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, capable of screaming up to a 9,000-rpm redline. With 518 horsepower sent to the rear wheels, the car rockets from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 184 mph.

But straight-line speed is only half the story. Aerodynamics are where the GT3 RS truly flexes its engineering muscle. A colossal rear wing with an F1-style Drag-Reduction System, paired with a strategically sculpted S-Duct air channel, front splitter, and rear diffuser, enables the car to produce a staggering 1,896 pounds of downforce at 177 mph—delivering unmatched cornering capability and stability on the track.

Although Dua Lipa never owned this GT3 RS, she did “experience” it in Monaco in the lead-up to the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, held as part of the Formula 1 support race weekend. Her brief but high-profile association with the car adds a layer of star appeal for collectors and fans alike.

More importantly, the vehicle is now set to make a tangible difference. Proceeds from the auction will go entirely to the Sunny Hill Foundation, Lipa’s nonprofit dedicated to uplifting her parents’ homeland, Kosovo. The funds will support 30 scholarships for young women pursuing STEM education, as well as cultural initiatives and NGOs working on the ground in the country.

While the vehicle is valued at over $470,000, bidding has already crossed the $240,000 mark, with several days still remaining. For car collectors, motorsport enthusiasts, or simply fans of Dua Lipa’s global efforts, this is a rare chance to own a one-of-a-kind machine—and support a cause that’s changing lives.

This isn’t just a high-octane collectible—it’s a statement. One that merges precision engineering, philanthropy, and pop culture into a singular, unforgettable moment on the auction block.
